The Helen Ross McNabb Center is a premier, not-for-profit provider of behavioral health services in East Tennessee. Since 1948, the Center has provided quality and compassionate care to children, adults and families experiencing mental illness, addiction and social challenges. Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands

Legal Aid Society is Tennessee’s largest non-profit law firm. 32 attorneys provide legal assistance in 48 counties. Hundreds of private attorneys provide pro bono services through our Volunteer Lawyers Program. Thousands of people read our booklets and get information about a legal problem or self help.

Youth Villages

Youth Villages provides help for children and young people across the United States who face a wide range of emotional, mental and behavioral problems. We work to find solutions using proven treatment models that strengthen the child’s family and support systems and dramatically improve their long-term success. Youth Villages helped more than 25,000 young people and their families this year.

Vanderbilt Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Our mental health specialists care for children ages 4-12 and adolescents ages 13-17 with many different emotional or behavior problems, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder. We are Middle Tennessee’s only provider of inpatient mental health services for children.

Family & Children's Service

Family & Children’s Service (FCS) serves all people in crisis and transition by meeting them where they are, understanding their needs, and connecting them to the resources they need. FCS often ‘fills in the gaps’ in social services, creating a safety net to ensure that all children and families can be safe and healthy. Each year we provide services to more than 60,000 Tennesseans.

Each American Job Center offers digital labor market information, free Internet access, workshops, online talent banks, job placement, recruitment, and training.

Nashville Career Advancement Center (NCAC)

NCAC prepares Nashville's workforce for navigating a career path, rather than simply finding a single job. The NCAC achieves its mission through a top-notch, federally-funded One-Stop Career Center. At the Career Center, prospective workers can locate job opportunities, research careers, utilize support services, and sharpen their job-related skills.
